If you have lost your phone or purchased a new one, you will have to install My Phone on the new phone. Any new Windows® phone you purchase will have the My Phone program preloaded and ready for installation.

1. On your computer, sign in to your My Phone account.
   
2. Click Add a new phone.
   
3. Click Send link to phone.
   
4. To receive the installation link in a text message, enter your new phone number in the pop up window. (Alternatively, you can browse to http://myphone.microsoft.com/install and install the app by using your phone’s browser.)
   
5. Download and install the application.
   
   When you sign in with your Windows Live ID and sync, the information stored in your My Phone account will be downloaded to your new phone.
